Hegenomy-Media Debate

I created a powerpoint in which I presented in front of the class about what hegenomy is and what other theories link to it such as "the othering theory and cultural imperialism. I also said about the different dominant ideologies and gave various different examples using media products.

The pictures above are the examples I used, and this represents the male and female hegenomic ideology that women in media should be presented in a sexualised manner , while men are shown to be dominant .
